back to top…Saints for Healing course
A starter course in understanding Christ's healing ministry. We will look at the healing ministry of Christ and consider what we can learn from His example. Of interest to those who want to explore what the healing ministry means, who feel they may be called to this ministry and for general interest and fellowship. At the end of the course you will have a greater understanding of God's view of man and all our complexities, what Christ's healing ministry in the church is today – and what it is not – and be better equipped to offer support and pray with your fellow Christians.
back to top…Falmouth Churches Together
There is a strong partnership between the Churches in the town of Falmouth. On the last Sunday evening of each month the Churches in Falmouth close their individual services and meet together for a Prayer and Praise meeting. This meeting starts at 6pm and is hosted by a different Church each month. The prayer content of this meeting is usually for specific local issues.
For more information on Falmouth Churches Together, see www.falmouthchurchestogether.org.uk
back to top…Food for Thought
Food for Thought is open to anyone who'd like to share a home-cooked meal and enjoy fellowship, every Thursday 1–4pm. There is a small charge of £2 for the two-course meal and transport can be provided at a small cost. We have a variety of good speakers at the meetings after the meal, talking on a wide range of topics. The meeting starts at 2.30pm.
back to top…Men’s Breakfast
Over the last few years we in Emmanuel have been running the occasional Men’s Breakfast at one of the local hotels, inviting a speaker to talk on a theme which will appeal to men. The idea is to build up and encourage the guys to introduce other men to Jesus Christ.
back to top…Prayer ‘n’ Praise
Prayer ‘n’ Praise meets every two weeks in the Prayer Room in the Church, although sometimes we may venture out and go on a prayer walk. It offers a relaxed time to praise and worship God in music; to pray for Falmouth, the Church and anything else God lays on our hearts.
back to top…Services for Older People
An informal 50-minute service for older people who would otherwise find it difficult to attend Church, followed by a cream tea. Transport is provided where needed. A varied programme including short talks, real-life stories, well-known hymns, solos and musical items. 3pm on the second Sunday of alternate months (February, April etc).
back to top…‘Stepping Out’ men’s walking group
Through a programme of ‘ambles’ and ‘rambles’ of varying lengths we hope to encourage fellowship between the men of the Church and establish contacts with those on the periphery. Living in such a lovely part of the country it’s good to walk, talk and share a pint and a meal with a ‘bunch of guys’. Contact Bryan Green (01326 312115) for more information.
back to top…Torch Fellowship Group
For anyone with a visual impairment; run by Christians from various local Churches. Informal style meeting on the first Saturday of each month at 2.30pm in the Lounge at Emmanuel; food and transport are provided. Provides a good opportunity for friendship, mutual support, sharing faith and accessing Christian magazines and books available from Torch Trust for the Blind.
For further information please contact Peter Richards.

“A body is made up of many parts, and each of them has its own
use… There are many of us, but we are each part of the body of
Christ, as well as part of one another.”
