Children’s Worship
On the first Sunday of each month there is a worship session from 10.30am until 11am for children. During this time we teach worship songs that they can sing along to, activities such as learning a memory verse and a time of prayer. At the end of this time we will then break into the usual groups for activities.
back to top…Sunday Morning Groups
The children’s groups meet on a Sunday Morning during the second half of the Service. Teaching materials used in all the groups are based in the Children’s Ministry materials, which allows a common theme to be taught to all ages from 2–13.

For those with babies and young children the crèche room is available. Suitable toys are provided to amuse the children. The room used has the service and sermon relayed into it for the benefit of the parents/carers.

2–4 year olds
Nippers provides a play-based Sunday school group for young children. During the session the children will be read a Bible story, which is often supported by a craft activity or game. Children are also allowed time to play with toys, jigsaw puzzles and other activities. We usually end with a snack.

Reception to Year 2
All Stars Sunday morning group meets for a time of Bible teaching that is suitable for children from Reception to Year 2 at school. The theme for the week is usually supported with games and craft activities. There is usually time for a snack during the morning.

Years 3 to 5
Xplorers is a Sunday morning group suitable for those from Years 3 to 5 at school. Themes from the Bible are explored using teaching, art and craft and games. Children are encouraged to think more about what they have been taught with a worksheet to take home afterwards.

Years 6 to 8
SOS meets to look at the Bible and learn about what it has to say. The children explore further the topic with the help of the people leading the group and using worksheets provided from the teaching resources used.

14–16 year olds
Enzos is a club for 14–16 year olds meeting socially on Fridays,
incorporating sports, outdoor activities, just chilling out, raising
money for charity/social justice and awareness issues and a small amount
of madness!
Fridays 8.15–10pm, term time
Distinctive
Distinctive is the Sunday morning discipleship stream of Enzos.

16–19 year olds
Equipping youth at college and in the work place to live for Christ and develop leadership and commitment within the ‘Body’.
Reloaded is aimed at 16–19 year olds who already have faith or are interested in exploring the possibilities. We meet on a Thursday evening for lively discussion, teaching, quizzes and food.
We are encouraged to develop our own gifts and talents by taking an active role in the organisation of the group. (Our leaders are suitably qualified and CRB checked)

IKON is an ecumenical worship event aimed at Christian young people, held on the second Sunday of the month (October to July). 7.30pm start, Emmanuel Baptist Church. Emmanuel has close connections with the thriving Christian Union of the Combined Universities in Cornwall, which has two campuses in the Falmouth and Penryn area. Emmanuel hosts Christian Union meetings on a Wednesday evening and a Christian Union prayer breakfast on Friday mornings at 7.30am. There is a full-time student worker, Kenny Robertson (UCCF), whose major role is to support Christian Unions in Cornwall. Kenny can be contacted on 01326 210634 or via email.
